Frequently Asked Questions
How it works
How does a visit work?
You can start by booking online or by phone. Choose to visit our clinic or schedule a home sample collection.
A licensed nurse or technician will collect your sample (e.g., swab or blood draw) during the visit. Samples are processed at DHA-approved laboratories, and confidential results are typically delivered within a few hours.
What are the requirements to receive care?
You must be of legal age and residing in Dubai with a valid Emirates ID. For certain services (like prenatal or women’s hormone tests), additional guidelines may apply—these are outlined on the specific service pages.
Where is the service available?
Get Checked Clinic operates in Dubai and offers two options:
Clinic-based services at their Dubai clinic
Home sample collection across the city via mobile nursing teams
What device and browser do I need for my chat or video visit?
If you choose a telehealth consultation, any modern device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with a current browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) will work. A stable internet connection is recommended. No special apps required—everything runs through their secure web platform.
Who can I contact if I have more questions or need help with my visit?
You can call or WhatsApp Get Checked Clinic at +971 52 700 7915 for appointment assistance, service details, or help during your visit.
Payment & insurance
How much does it cost?
Prices vary depending on the test or service. Common options include hormone checks, gut health profiles, food intolerance testing, and STD panels — each with its own fee.
Prices start from AED 150
A home visit fee may apply based on location and service
Exact pricing is available on our website or by direct inquiry
Can I use my insurance to pay for medication?
Get Checked Clinic is a private diagnostic provider. While some costs may be reimbursable by your insurance, payments are typically out-of-pocket. You can request invoices/receipts to submit to your insurer.
What forms of payment do you accept?
They accept in-clinic payments via credit/debit cards, and online payments via secure gateways when booking. Cash may also be accepted depending on clinic policy—best to confirm when booking.
Can I request a refund if Getchecked clinic is unable to treat me?
Yes. If they determine they can’t proceed with your test or consultation (e.g., due to medical contraindications or lab limitations), you may request a refund for services not delivered. You’ll be refunded per their refund policy.
Providers & prescriptions
Who are the providers?
Their healthcare team includes licensed nurses, certified phlebotomists, and medical doctors (MDs) who oversee sample collection, analysis, and consults. All operate under Dubai healthcare regulations and are qualified in their specialties.
Will my records be sent to my primary care physician?
Your health records remain confidential. If you want them to share results with your PCP, you must provide written consent. Upon approval, they can securely share lab results or consultation summaries.
Which medications are not prescribed?
As a diagnostic provider, they typically focus on testing rather than prescribing medications. For medications, they may offer referrals or teleconsultations, but controlled substances or specialized prescriptions generally require a separate doctor visit.
